Last week, we officially closed the conference lineup for 2024.
And we’ve picked a great event to do so… The London EV Show, of which we were one of the sponsors, turned out to be a great place to meet new people and exchange thoughts and insights about the industry.
Held at ExCel London, it was the 4th edition and, for a rather young event, it gathered a fantastic selection of EV-related companies as well as industry leaders, policymakers or great speakers. The event began with powerful remarks from Lilian Greenwood MP, Minister for the Future of Roads, and Mete Coban, London’s Deputy Mayor for Environment and Energy, emphasizing the city's ambitious vision to lead the world as a fully EV-ready global metropolis.
The event spotlighted a range of pivotal topics, from evolving consumer preferences and market dynamics to advancements in battery management and strategies for fleet electrification. A strong emphasis was placed on the critical importance of charging infrastructure in driving the shift to electric mobility. Additionally, micromobility's transformative potential in urban transportation took center stage, with innovative solutions presented throughout the discussions. We were super lucky to be able to also shed some light on the matters of software within the EV charging sphere.
Finally, the London EV Show was a great place to introduce our newest crew member - Jeroen, who joined Solidstudio as Chief Commercial Officer. Jeroen will surely become a frequent participant of more events in 2025 and we’re looking forward to teaming up for great eMobility collaborations.
