The 38th International Electric Vehicle Symposium gathered the global eMobility community in some great numbers. Solidstudio was proudly there as a Silver Sponsor this year.
With over 10,000 visitors across four days, EVS38 drew participants from more than 55 countries, with strong attendance from Sweden, Germany, France, the Netherlands, and Norway. 260 exhibitors took part in the expo.
Our representatives had the opportunity to share some thought leadership across two impactful stage appearances, including participation in a main stage keynote debate.
Agora Session: Smarter Software Strategies for EV Charging
Speaker: Andrzej Szymczak
Title: Smarter Software Strategies for EV Charging: The Case for Ownership and Operational Security
In the Agora Session, Andrzej, our Senior eMobility Consultant at Solidstudio, tackled one of the most pressing dilemmas in modern EV infrastructure: the trade-off between control and convenience in software acquisition.
He challenged the overreliance on third-party SaaS platforms in the eMobility sector, urging operators to rethink the long-term sustainability of such models. Ownership of critical software platforms isn’t just a business preference—it’s a matter of operational resilience and market differentiation.
As hardware becomes increasingly commoditized, software emerges as the true competitive differentiator, and Szymczak emphasized that platform ownership is key to unlocking that potential.
Main Stage Keynote Panel -Connected EVs & the Role of Data
Speaker: Paweł Małkowiak
Title: Connected EVs: Is Data Changing the Electric Driving Experience?
On the conference’s main stage, our CEO Paweł Małkowiak joined industry leaders to explore how data connectivity is reshaping the EV experience for users and operators alike.
In a standout moment, Paweł addressed the critical role of AI and data integrity in the eMobility ecosystem.
“Electromobility is a network of many interconnected entities. Data is collected and transmitted across multiple levels—from charging stations, through operators and energy providers, to end users. The quality of digital data is only as strong as the weakest link in the entire chain. Consequently, AI solutions must match this quality. Artificial Intelligence will have its place in the industry only if it is thoughtfully designed and goal-driven—not just a buzzword-filled add-on.”
At Solidstudio, we’re super happy that we get to bring the world of digital solutions closer to a broader EV-focused audience. By advocating for smarter, more secure, and more autonomous software strategies, the team continues to influence how the EV charging sector evolves - putting innovation and ownership at the center of the journey.
