Tesla joins Gireve’s roaming platform

Tesla and Gireve have now joined forces, allowing electric-vehicle users to access roaming deals through the platform. This partnership also opens up new opportunities for eMSPs with an agreement granting them access to superchargers across Europe. Gireve is a digital platform that offers services including Roaming Platform, Plug & Charge, Smart Charging, Data Management & Consultancy for electric mobility. Its headquarters are in Paris. Ten new EV’s from Toyota in next 3 years

At Toyota, bold plans are on the horizon. Hiroki Nakajima announced that in the next three years, up to 10 electrified vehicles will be available for consumers. It’s a clear indication of how seriously they take their electric transformation. The business aims high with its forecast: at least 1.5 million electrical vehicle sales by 2026 and even double range batteries comparing to current norms. Source

First EV to use silicon-based anodes

The next Mercedes EQG will be the first electric vehicle to use silicon-based anodes, which will be provided by Sila Nanotechnologies, a California-based manufacturer of battery materials. Mercedes is the first automaker in line to get the „Titan Silicon” battery material, which has been under development for several years and is now finally commercially available. Maybach EQS 680 SUV’s debut soon

On 14 April Maybach, the iconic luxury sub-brand of Mercedes-Benz is set to unveil its first all electric SUV at Auto Shanghai in China. Although details are still under wraps. It can be expected that as an EQS SUV model, EQS 680 will outrun the 580 4MATIC with 536 hp and 633 lb-ft of torque from a 108.4 kWh battery resulting in up to 285 miles range.
